The Hot Flash Related Daily Interference Scale (HFRDIS) is the gold standard measure for assessing hot flash interference. The original publication of this scale had been highly cited by national and international colleagues, mentioned in books on menopause, and translated into 20+ languages. The Hot Flash Interference Scale (HFI), a shorter version of the HFRDIS, was created through psychometric testing and is also available for use in research or clinical practice.
